Spanish Inventory of Geological Sites of Interest
This application provides access to the database of the Spanish Inventory of Geological Sites of Interest (IELIG), which, pursuant to Law 42/2007, is required to be prepared and updated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and the Environment, in collaboration with the Autonomous Communities and scientific institutions. Royal Decree 1274/2011 mandates the IGME (Spanish Geological Survey) to complete this inventory.
